Auditions for The Wedding Singer
When are Auditions?
Please prepare a brief comedic monologue and 1 minute of a song of your choice to sing with a backup track you bring, OR acapella. Be prepared with the dance combination found in the link at the bottom of this page.
Wednesday, April 26
5:30 pm to 6:15 pm
6:15 pm to 7:00 pm
7:15 pm to 8:00 pm
Thursday, April 27
5:30 pm to 6:15 pm
6:15 pm to 7:00 pm
7:15 pm to 8:00 pm
If you select a time slot for Wednesday, please be available to come to the 7:15 pm slot on Thursday for a potential callback. You will be contacted Wednesday night if you're needed to return on Thursday. If you are not contacted, that does not mean you're not cast - that means the creative team has seen everything needed prior to releasing the full cast list.
Not everyone who auditions will be cast in this production.
Age Consideration - while MSCT welcomes all to audition, please be advised that actors younger than age 12 will not be cast due to some content in the show.
When is the actual show?
Performances dates are 6/22, 6/23, 6/24, 6/25, 6/29, 6/30, 7/1, and 7/2.
Read-Through and Parent Meeting
The first read-through and the parent meeting will be Monday, May 1, 2023, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Hilton Head Ballroom Dance Studio inside Seaquins Balloom, 1300 Fording Island Road Bluffton. Please drive to the back of the building and enter through the back door.
